Recogniton

 ‘Bottle bank’ was longlisted for The Bridport Poetry Prize 2006, under Helen’s maiden name of Bannister.

‘With Calypso’ was commended, Poetry on the Lake International Poetry Competition, Silver Wyvern Awards 2010 – Short poems.

 

Nuncle’ was April 2010 winner, Ledbury Poetry Competition ‘Always be a poet’.

 

Translated work

For the chiding dove’ was translated into Italian by Gabriel Griffin and published in the ‘Poetry on the Lake Journal two’ (2009).

 

Phidippedes : prose translated into Czech and published in Now and Then, Prague International Marathon
